Quick...Jaume Pagès is Jaumëtic and Phil Link: musician, dj and manager of the labels Regular, Irregular and Technostalgia. Hiper-active element of the Barcelona electronic scene and musician/producer with opening of sights.

Beginning ....Like dj, Jaumëtic begins its way in 1992, arrived 1995 and seduced by the sound from Detroit, he orients his sessions towards more electronic parameters. At the moment, besides to make the public move with its favorite, always synthetic, rhythms (minimal house, tech-house, groovy techno, electro) he makes a wink to other styles more trancy, but always showing the danceable side and his eclectic point of view on the music.

Around the world....His sets has been tasted or even to the other side of the pool thanks to the tours that take it periodically to the United States (New York-Boston-Chicago-Philadelphia), Argentina, Chile, Venezuela or Colombia. Apart of Moscow (Russia) where he traveled to play in Ikra Club, he also played with his band EARTH, WIND AND FIREWIRE in the distant city of Seoul (South Korea) in the sample Design Play.

In Europe he is present regularly in the most representative clubs of cities like: Berlin, Cologne, Munich, London, Paris, Lyon, Dublin, Edinburgh, Zurich, Lisbon, Milan etc etc.

At this moment he is monthly resident of Fellini Club in Barcelona and Danzoo in Madrid and it´s a usual artist in the program of Spanish festivals like Sonar (2002-2004-2005) or Monegros 2005.

LIKE MUSICIAN

Past...After several experiences in bands during the 90's playing electronic pop, techno, electro or hip-hop, Jaumëtic focused his productions on electronic dance music with aptitude to which he is completely dedicated at this moment.

Now...At the moment, the most important productions of Jaume Pagès, are those that he creates with his pseudonym that he uses as a dj (Jaumëtic). These creations oriented towards the essence of Regular, which means; electronic shapes with groovy structures and with an emotional touch that he gives to all his productions. Minimal? Techno? No no, this is electronic dance music with personality...

Under this pseudonym he has published diverse references in his own labels (Regular & Technostalgia) or other labels like Ware, Software, Pulsewith, Tunningspork, Galaktika, Deep explorer, Discos de Lata or MSX.

In format album/CD-mix the figure of Jaume consolidated like dj in all Europe after launching the mix album "My friends Regular and I" in 2004, a great sample of the label situation at these moment, and a great mix with fantastic reviews in the best European magazines like Groove, De-Bug, Trax or DJ Mag.

In his last works, his insatiable need to explore new ways, has brought him to sing in some of his own tracks and collaborations in album like "Nada" from Swat squad (Software 03) and in his own productions like in Ziga zaga (Regular 019) and "Miamibi" (Regular 011).

Another Jaume alter-ego is Phil Link. With him, he gives loose rein to his more intimate reflections, giving shape to the most personal and experimental compositions without repairing in styles nor pre-established forms. His lives, alone or with Videotone in Earth, Wind and Firewire, are exercises of improvisation and spontaneous work trying to transmit and to create an atmosphere different in each one from their shows. Phil Link has acted in direct in Sonar 2006 as Earth, Wind and Firewire and other media festivals and places over Europe.
